Non-Music Writing
Louis' main gig is music. But he also does some writing, editing, and proofreading. A little-known fact is that Louis won Portland State University's Undergraduate Historical Writing Award and graduated with high honors.
Louis wrote & edited at The Nature Conservancy and at Kaiser Permanente's Center For Health Research, and he's written for the Jazz Society of Oregon and the Waterfront Blues Festival. Louis has also written bios for numerous musicians (several of those can be read at this website).
