I'm extremely proud of all of the CDs I've produced (or co-produced) and played on over the years. All of them have received great critical response, with the last three having been honored in Downbeat (the world's top jazz magazine) as among the "Best Albums Of The Year." [To read excerpts from CD reviews, visit the "CD REVIEWS" page at this website.] In a sense, my various CD projects represent my life's work.
With cdbaby.com no longer selling physical CDs, I'm now making these CDs available for purchase directly thru this website. You can preview tracks or purchase the CD (by clicking on the "ADD TO CART" link). To pay for the CD, use PayPal. Shipping is included in the $20 price; just email me your mailing address and I'll personally mail you your CD. I hope you love the music!

The late, great Sweet Baby James Benton was a "landmark of Portland jazz" according to Willamette Week. We musicians called him, "Portland's Ray Charles." In his review of this CD, Oregonian music critic Marty Hughley wrote, ""Travel around the world and you won't find many musical experiences that can make you feel like this."
