Lloyd is a NW blues legend, of course, and filling out the quartet will be band regulars Edwin Coleman III, drums; and Denny Bixby, bass. We'll be playing in a sunken courtyard by a waterfall, with the audience at tables above, enjoying the venue's delicious food & excellent drink. We're very happy to be keeping our Thursday night downtown Portland tradition alive--20 years at Jimmy Mak's and 8 years and counting at the JLR (with a 1-year pandemic pause). As a bonus, top musicians and vocalists frequently sit in with the band--thrilled to play with Mel Brown, Portland's jazz drumming legend!
