"Marty Boy," named after my 7-toed cat--is the 9th track on the King Louie Organ Trio's debut CD, but it's actually the 1st track of the recording's "2nd CD," as the final five tunes on the CD are quite different from the first eight. They are jazzier, featuring 4/5 of the original Mel Brown B-3 Organ Group that began playing at Jimmy Mak's in 1997 (sadly, the fifth member, trumpeter Thara Memory, passed away in 2017). Those surviving members include saxophonist Renato Caranto and me, plus Mel on drums and Dan Faehnle on guitar.
