We are looking forward to the opportunity to open for Shemekia Copeland, daughter of legendary Chicago bluesman Johnny Copeland and one of the top blues artists in the country in her own right. Shemekia and LaRhonda in the same show? I'd call that female blues/soul vocal nirvana!
We won't have the King of the Saxophone, Renato Caranto, with us this time. But blues guitarist (and Artistic Director of the Waterfront Blues Festival) Peter Dammann will be tearing it up on guitar, fitting the occasion!
