This will be the 5th installment of the jam at Mekong Bistro, and we've gotten off to a great start! As hoped for, we've gotten a steady diet of youngsters sitting in along with a smattering of oldsters. That is how young musicians learn their craft; no amount of "book learning" can substitute for actual bandstand experience, and a jam like this is the perfect low-pressure setting for gaining that seasoning.
Please come out and support what we're doing on alternating Tuesdays at Mekong Bistro. There's good music with no cover charge, safe & easy parking, great vibes, and delicious, inexpensive Cambodian cuisine. What's not to like?
