Something different at the beautiful Jack London Revue this Thursday: the Mel Brown B-3 Organ Group will be starting just after 7 pm thru 8:15--i.e, the same duration as our usual energy-packed, non-stop first set! Then a touring act, "Hot Club of Cowtown," will take over. (The cover charge will be just $10 as usual, unless you wish to pay extra to stay and see HCOC.) Doors are to open at 7 pm sharp.
As always, the MBBOG group features an all-star line-up including Mel Brown, drums; Dan Balmer, guitar; Renato Caranto, saxophone; and myself on Hammond B-3. Groove & spontaneity are the orders of the day!
