Here is the brand-new Albina Jazz Festival's mission statement: "To keep Jazz music in Portland alive and contribute to the history of Jazz in the Albina community; To promote and preserve the roots of the historical jazz scene along Williams Avenue during the 1940’s-1960’s; To celebrate the well-being of the community, in balance with our core values."
