Exciting news: a great new music venue, the Jack London Revue, is opening. My trio with Renato Caranto and Edwin Coleman III has the honor of playing the “soft opening” this Friday (May 26). Doors at 8 pm, music from 9-11, and no cover! (The soft opening will continue on Saturday with other groups performing.)
The Jack London Revue is a beautiful new music venue. Formerly the Jack London Bar, downstairs from the Rialto Pool Hall at 4th & Alder, the room has been completely renovated with a stage, sound system, etc. It has a wonderful, “speakeasy” vibe to it. Soul’d Out Productions is booking the venue, and they plan quality jazz-oriented music six nights a week right off the bat. Come out on Friday and check it out!
