Lents Park, Slavic Jazz Festival/ Movies in the Park, SE 92nd & Holgate, Portland, OR
The late Jim Miller's company, Golden Harvest, has booked me to play a series of "Movies in the Park" events this summer. Each time, my trio will play for an hour or two--up until it's dark enough to screen the film ("White Tiger" this time--in Russian with English subtitles).
For this performance, I'll be joined by the soulful LaRhonda Steele, vocals; and the funky Micah Kassell, drums. Bring the family and stick around for the movie. It's all free, courtesy of Portland Parks & Recreation!
