This group, dubbed "Jimmy Mak's signature band" by The Oregonian, has been performing there on Thursday nights for sixteen years and counting! When George Benson heard the group, he said, "If this band played in New York City, they'd be a sensation!" The Oregonian's Kyle O'Brien described the band's unique style as, "the sound of spontaneity." Come out on a Thursday evening and hear what the excitement is all about!
BTW, on this very special Thursday, organist Louis "King Louie" Pain and Jimmy Mak's "musicologist" JD Stubenberg will be celebrating their birthdays. This annual "Two Kahuna's Birthday Luau" is always a great party!
