From the Jimmy Mak's website: We’ve got two very special shows for you this evening. For over fifteen years, Mel Brown has held court with his infectiously grooving B3 Organ Group every Thursday night. This legendary band features the driving percussion of Curtis Craft, our resident guitar master Dan Balmer, the mighty Hammond organ playing of Louis Pain, and the soul-searing saxophone of Renato Caranto. For tonight’s Valentine’s celebration, Mel is adding something extra special for you in the form of his cousin; the amazing vocalist Shirley Nanette! We will present two different shows tonight. Our early show will feature Shirley in her jazz element, bringing beautiful takes on the standards for all of you to dance close too. The late show will show off her soulful side as the band kicks it up to get nasty for the late night lovers! We will be clearing out a dance floor for all of you to enjoy. It is Valentine’s day, and we expect to sell out both of these shows, so get on it quickly folks!
