The inclusion of this classic hymn on the CD grew out of my having heard Linda perform it with these same musicians--Janice Scroggins and Jeff Minniewether (Linda's cousin)--at a Curtis Salgado gig. Their rendition was flat incredible, and I wanted to see if they could recreate that performance in the studio. Boy, did they ever!
