We only had two days in the studio for basic tracks (drums, organ, and scratch vocals). With 5 minutes to go, I said, "let's try 'Rock Me Baby'; you never know, it could end up being the best thing on the CD."

We'd never played the song together before, but I came up with an intro, showed it to drummer Brian Foxworth, and away we went. At the end of the take, you can hear that we were pleased! We didn't do a thing to that take editing-wise save add a guitar part, and it ended up being the CD's title song!
