It's always a blast to play with "The Four Kings" (i.e., King Louie & Renato Caranto plus Sean Holmes & Edwin Coleman III), and Northwood Public House is our very favorite place to do it! Delicious food, super friendly staff, cool decor, easy parking: what's not to like? (No cover charge!)
It's always a thrill to play with "The Northwest King Of Soul Music," the amazing Andy Stokes. And with Renato Caranto and Andy's favorite Tacoma drummer, Joe Simpson, aboard, we should be rocking the house! The venue is a new one for Renato and me: The Spar. Andy reports that it's lots of fun!
Renato and I are looking forward to playing again at this gorgeous, new wine bar in downtown Camas (right across the street from the Liberty Theater). Unlike most restaurants, this one was designed with acoustics in mind (the owners even hired an acoustical engineer), so it sounds great. Patrons can hear every note as well as hear themselves converse! Obviously the wine is a highlight, but the appetizers are very good too. Come check it out if you're a Clark County-ite! (no cover charge)

Sadly, our 20-year run as "Jimmy Mak's signature group" (The Oregonian) came to an end in December 2016 with Jimmy's untimely passing. But our new Thursday night residency at the Jack London Revue is going very well--with three years already under our belt. This is a beautiful, recently-renovated downstairs venue reminiscent of classic jazz clubs of the 50's & 60's.
