Renato and I had a ball playing a John Mears house party back in January. On that occasion, our performance had been auctioned off as part of the Bluesmania fundraiser for the late Steve Pringle's family. (Benefit attendees had purchased tickets to the house party.) But here's the basics: the party will be at his beautiful NW Portland home from 1-4 pm. You pay $10 at the door and bring a drink and a dish (it's a potluck). The events are intimate (around 40 attendees) and great fun!
