It's that time of year: another birthday bash for one of the icons of NW blues, Lloyd Jones! If you're in the Eugene area and love the blues, you won't want to miss this gig!
Exciting news: The 1905 is reopening, and the Mel Brown B-3 Organ Group has the honor of playing at the Re-Opening event! We'll play two separately ticketed shows, beginning at 6 pm (doors 5 pm) and 8:15 pm (doors 7:30) respectively. Dan Balmer, our guitarist, won't be with us for the 2nd show, so if you like guitar you'll want to come to the early show. Seriously, Dan is fantastic, but sans guitar we feature the amazing Mel Brown quite a bit more. So trust me, the 2nd show will be great too!

If you're traveling to the islands in late April, this super cool house party at local Jamie Lawrence's gorgeous home will be a blast! (We've done it three times previously.) Jamie and his wife Lori have a concert grand piano, Hammond organ with Leslie speaker, drum kit, p.a. system, upright bass, more guitars & guitar amps than I can count, and more--all in their sprawling, elegant living room! This regular First Saturday gig at the Alberta Street Pub is always fun. But this one will be extra special, as we're the "opening act" for the Kentucky Derby! No, we won't be saddled up. But a packed house will be on hand to celebrate the Derby, which starts around 4 pm. Should be a very fun day!
